IITDelhi and The Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) Melbourne recently organized a symposium on community well-being through health co-design in Delhi. The event aimed to explore how vernacular and traditional knowledge systems can improve health outcomes for rural communities. Experts from India and Australia discussed innovative approaches to integrating different medical systems while keeping modern science as a reference point.

The symposium provided a simple yet innovative forum for learning, with nutritious refreshments and an open environment that encouraged participants to express their ideas freely. As a participant represented SOHAMINDIA, shared the approach of using mindfulness as a strategy for community health, on integrated public health systems.
