In a significant expansion of its youth-focused mindfulness programs, SOHAMINDIA recently conducted a transformative session with 20 school principals from Haryana. The initiative builds upon SOHAMINDIA’s approach of mindfulness practices into contemporary educational frameworks.
They acknowledged that students navigating the challenges of social media and constant digital stimulation could benefit immensely from mindfulness reimagined for the modern classroom.
The educators were oriented on concerns of today’s fast-paced, technology-saturated and social media-driven environment and its impact on students. They were introduced with the mindfulness as a technique to counter issues such as Growing up , Mental health, Drug abuse, HIV/AIDS, Nutrition, Gender inequality, Violence, the right and safe use of mobile to deal in their senior secondary students.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward bringing mindfulness-based educational approaches to Haryana’s youth, addressing their unique challenges in the digital age.
